Kelso Okrossbar is your average young adult male gamer whose single and lives with his parents whose motto is "I'm the worst guy to speak to". He's the protagonist and narrator of this tale which seemingly is normal. He always sad looking, makes self-deprecating jokes about himself, sleepy all the time, and eats to burry the emotional pain he feels. He's not very strong always losing any fight he's been shoved into and is very shy not even capable of asking a girl out properly. While he seems weak with his slim body, he is good at masking his true feelings and can even bounce back from the toughest of situations. His greatest desire is to finally gain the courage to ask Asha out on a date.

Isolation is a ageless being that isn't physical or supernatural in nature. He's friendly, but antagonistic towards Kelso being also very omnipresent. Taking on the appearance of a shadowy figure in his hallucinations seemingly invisible to the rest of the world except for Kelso, he speaks in a sagely voice as he tries to push Kelso down deeper into darkness.

Viktor Disperazione is a young adult male who could be called the most negative guy in the whole town. He has a evil streak to him and constantly is bringing the mood down being a classic bad boy. He's Kelso's childhood friend and seemingly only opens up around him showing his positive notes only to him. He and Asha used to date with him knowing all her secrets.

Asha Veronica Diamont is one of the brightest young adult girls in this town. For all her happiness, she doesn't seem to like religion and has a secret Viktor knows about. She's very proud of being a african american woman wanting to spread her art and fashion to the world to be like the great woman she aspires to be. Kelso thinks of her as being bright and hopeful.
